There is a blog concerning the upcoming book GPU Pro at http://gpupro.blogspot.com/.
I posted the Table of Contents for GPU Pro. You can pre-order it on Amazon here.
There is another blog for GPU Pro 2 with a call for authors, in case you want to see your name written in golden letters in a book :-)
Will the GPU Pro series replace the ShaderX series?
ReplyDeleteThat's the plan. It is in full color.
ReplyDeleteWhen is it supposed to be released?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward
ReplyDeleteThat's a book for *very good* developper or all level ?
ReplyDeleteSamuel: Judging from previous (ShaderX) books, above-average graphics programming literacy of a reader is the key point to appreciate the reading fully. I think, as always, intermediate level developers will need more time to catch/implement the ideas, but, on the whole, it is designed so that anyone just a bit interested in the field should manage to get through most of the material. In fact, I am sure, that is one of the key ideas behind the series. P.S. Can't wait "GPU Pro" :)
ReplyDeleteAre there any differences between the shaderX series and the new GPU Pro series? Or is it only a new name? =D
ReplyDeleteI'm a great fan of the ShaderX series and i hope that the GPU Pro Series is good as the ShaderX series.
PS: Sorry for my really bad english... =D
